TL's writing is strong, and I was totally down with the premise to this story. Why the heck not hire a hottie to burn of some steam? And I LOVE stories with successful women making their way in the world who have real struggles.I had to take one star off because of a trend I see in BDSM stories where they include important elements of the lifestyle but they are either not particularly well displayed or come out of order. Don't get me wrong! I was so happy that there was a safeword and some real aftercare here. But, Jax should have reminded Kat/Marie/Willow of its existence before he pushed her too far, not after. And aftercare should be just as important as the steamy scenes themselves, a true Dom would have never left his sub in the state Jax did or go through with a scene if her emotional state was off.
Minus those small details, this story was a pleasure to read. The dialogue was great and I appreciated the subplot being wrapped up. And boy oh boy can TL write some sexy times. I gobbled it up in one sitting.

HI I got to say at first I diodnt think this was going to be a good book but decided to read it anyways and I was totallly surprised at the charactors and the way they go about things~~~ this book was awesdome
Having the main character call for therapy while being intoxicated was a fun story line. It was pretty evident she wasn't aware of what she was getting. The ending was good, pretty much what I would have expected.
This had so much packed into just 148 pages. There was interest from the start to the very finish. Very light dominance along with an unbelievable amount of hot lust! Very sexy! Highly recommended for a short, sweet and spicy read. Enjoy!

BDSM and spanking isn't my thing, but if it is yours you'll love this book. I loved the interaction between the lead characters at the end, although very much Mary Sueish wish fulfillment. But isn't that what all good exotic novels are about. )
Much much better than the awfully written Shades of Grey.
Sweet *and* sexy, the perfect combination!
The author has you empathising with the main character right away (great voice!), and the erotic scenes are a definite turn on - even if you might not share the same preferences. The tenderness of the romance is pure icing on the cake.
One of those have-to-read-it-in-one-sitting books, definitely. I'm looking forward to more by this author!
Wow- I know I need that therapy! This was such a really good story- I really got it. I can see how letting go and being free and letting someone else hold your decisions for even an hour could be healing. But oh my goodness, J. Daniels is the stuff things could be made of!! Strong. Gorgeous. Dominant. Kind, caring, and strong. Just what highly closed off exec Willow needed. After a bad break up from a long term relationship she has repressed herself emotionally. She finds a dropped card at a party after over hearing a conversation about therapeutic spanking. She calls J. Daniel and hires him for a month......only things take an unexpected turn when they both catch feelings........I really really liked this story....not your usual vanilla happily ever after but still happily (hopefully) ever after..
